As Canadian women are set to inherit $1 trillion over the next decade and control 47% of Canada’s wealth by 2030, M51 is crucial in democratizing access to capital and supporting women and gender-diverse individuals in growing their wealth.
Architect of Strategic Growth and Impact. As The51 embarks on its ambitious goal of activating $2.5 billion of women-led capital by 2030, Movement51 is seeking dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization and drive our bold ambition forward. Since our inception in 2020, M51 has pioneered financial education and community engagement through innovative programs like the Financial Feminism Investing Lab and the National Founders Lab. Your role will be pivotal in scaling these programs, expanding our reach, and driving fundraising efforts. With over 190 graduates already making impactful investments, you will help accelerate our mission to meet the financial needs of women and gender-diverse individuals.
Navigating Expansion and Innovation. The Executive Director will have the opportunity to drive the exponential growth of Movement51 and work closely with The51 to reach a broader vision. The Executive Director will be well connected in the community and have solid relationships with financial institutions, government funders, sponsors and educational organizations. You will oversee the implementation of our educational programs, ensure financial sustainability, and advocate for financial literacy and economic empowerment. Your leadership will be essential in extending our reach with the National Catalyst Tour and launching new financial products tailored to women’s needs.
Seeking a Visionary Leader. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader with experience in scaling businesses nationally. The ideal candidate will be a visionary commercial leader with a passion for financial feminism and a track record of success in building strategic partnerships, fundraising and scaling organizations. Familiarity with venture capital and a commitment for supporting women and gender-diverse individuals are crucial. You are a relationship builder and are well connected in your community. You possess a collaborative mindset and have a growth-oriented approach. Exceptional communication skills, a strong reputation in the industry, and a passion to drive impact are essential.
