This one-day intensive bootcamp will teach you:

  • The fundamentals of investing in innovative startups at the earliest stage so you can invest with impact.

  • How to conduct due diligence to increase the level of confidence you have in the start-ups you’re investing in.

  • The ins and outs of venture math, the numbers you need to know and why.

  • How to develop an investment thesis so your investments are aligned with your goals and values.

  • How to evaluate a pitch by watching two local female founders pitch their companies.

Each bootcamp is led by a team of seasoned investors and industry experts. You’ll be learning from some of the most experienced experts in the field.

  • The bootcamp is tailored for any and all individuals who are new to early-stage investing or want to gain the knowledge to make impactful investment choices, all with a gender-inclusive lens.

  • No! Our course is open to everyone and anyone interested in early-stage investing. To learn more about being an accredited investor in Canada click here.

  • No prior investment experience is required, making it accessible for beginners. Participants should have an interest in investing in startups and supporting gender-diverse founders.

  • The program focuses on empowering women and gender-diverse founders, offering investors tailored education, mentorship, and a supportive community to support this community. It also addresses systemic barriers that women-led companies often face in the investment landscape.

  • This is a condensed version of the lab. With a lot of the same content and live pitches to evaluate, you will get a great introduction to the world of early-stage investing.

  • Most, if not all of, our participants have job demands.
